THE DARKENER Pre-Launch Contest Guidelines

Part 1: Exposure

• All Likes, Comments, Shares, Favorites, Retweets, and Posts concerning THE DARKENER and its promotional material will be tracked.
• For every one of the items listed above, a person will be awarded a single "raffle ticket".
• Each week, the three people with the best performance will receive five additional "raffle tickets".
• On the day of the launch, a Grand Prize Winner and two other Prize winners will be selected via a raffle.
• The Grand Prize Winner will win a Kindle (or similarly valued device of their choosing).
• The other Prize Winners will each receive $50 Amazon gift cards.
• Addendum 1: Anyone who invites their entire friend's list to Like the page is awarded an extra 20 tickets. You are on the honor system for this one, so please be respectful.

Part 2: Outreach

• Every week, a goal for new Facebook Page Likes and new Twitter Followers will be set
• If both goals are met by the end of the week, two winners will be chosen at random to receive the prize of their choice:
• A free copy of THE DARKENER.
• A $10 Amazon gift card.
• A once in a lifetime opportunity to force me to do something stupid on camera.
• Addendum 1: All New Likes/Followers above the weekly goal will be placed into a "Bonus" bucket during the contest. For every 20 Bonus Likes and 10 Bonus Followers, I will pick an additional winner in the final week!
